hello , I'm having a problem finding what item to put in the projector to get it working. I read it is found in the ticket booth but all I see in the booth is a paper.

The ticket booth is a separate locked room off the lobby -- hope you have the key for it.

I have the key and have been inside it, but no item , maybe I missed something.what I'm I looking for?

Inside the ticket booth, look down near the stool. You should see a strange device (for the projector) and a book to read.

I'm not sure exactly where you are in the game right now. Whereabouts is the doors room? When you say colour patterns do you mean the room with the platforms that drop down? If so, once all the platforms have dropped, press the red button on the machine and it will unlock the door for you.
