does anyone know anything about update KB967715 ?

it shows up as a new update , and states that it is 960kb-3.0mb , and is to correct a problem in which auto run features were not correctly disabled in windows xp .

however , it seems to download , but never install ? therefore the message is always there ?

I found a couple of threads at other website where people had the same problem. Someone at ***this forum*** suggested installing KB967715 in Safe Mode to get it to install correctly.

According to someone at ***this site***, Roxio DLA (which is often installed on Dell computers) may interfere with KB967715 installation.

*i just went in to the update feature ,and checked the "do not show me this again" box for it as they suggested. since the thread was well over a year old , i doubt the problem will get fixed ( of course , how would i know with the box being checked crazy) that got rid of it ,thank you
