Anyone else getting their backup BigFish game cd's with glue on them/partially out of the thin carboard 'envelope'? I had one several weeks ago but luckily it was one of those Trial cd's they send w/the backup...so didn't tell them. This past week i got 2 of the backups i had ordered and BOTH were partially sealed w/glue partially out of the envelope. Unfortunately this time it was the true Game backup that got the glue on them. I have just finished emailing them so hopefully they will send a correctly packaged backup cd for the 2 that were damaged. But wondered if anyone else has been having this problem lately? Also--i wonder --why, why, do they send ANOTHER trial cd with each backup game one....what a waste of $$(and can't give away because has my personal info on it)...??? I have enjoyed BF immensely for quite awhile but seems like lately they've hit a bit of a rough patch w/buggy games, gamemanager, sloppy mailings. hope things get better for them soon. I use a mobile usb modem--only get so many Gigs for use a month(if run over service can slow down my speed!) so each time i have to re-download a game or gamemanager-or a 'fix'..that is precious usage to me!

There is no personal info on the CD's. You can not give away or lend anyone the backup CD, but you can give away the trial CD to a friend.

Well, last week got a couple BF backup cd's in mail. cd's partly out of sleeve and there was glue on them -emailed BF. They said were going to mail replacements. Well, guess what. They came. Guess what...partly out of sleeve and glue on them-AGAIN! Their email says they (BF) is not in charge of packaging-didn't say who is either. Does anyone know if BF has changed hands? Whoever is doing quality control for packing needs to be replaced. I know i am not the only one this is happening to...i know of several others who are having the same problem when they get their cd's as well...and they also have notified BF about it..and it keeps on happening...not with every cd but seems like every 2nd or 3rd now...getting worse. I really have enjoyed BF-but this doesn't seem to be a hard problem to solve but seems to be maybe they don't care-so i may have to get my 'casual game' fix from some other place. I'd really hate that..like the selection and all but since we do pay for the download(if we download or not) and the cd the cd should arrive in good shape!

BF has not changed hands.

Your packaging issue is something that no one but Big Fish can help with or comment on as they would be the only ones that know what is behind it. I hope you can find some satisfaction from them. I'm sorry you are having troubles.

Sorry i went on a bit of a rant..is not really a 'boomers problem i know-just was so frustrated that a good company/service has an issue they won't fix/repair. I like to get the backups(limited amt of dwnld time on my mble usb modem)-especially of the CE's since they're usually large. I hope they fix the machine or whatever does packaging. i'd rather have a good cd than the credit(unless is a really bad game itself).

Hi Gamenut,
I too get backup CD's from BFG and everytime they are out of the envelope with glue all over them. I have complained to BFG, but all they do is send another order that has glue all over them. It seems to fall on deaf ears. I too wonder if they have changed hands....sensoring the forums, having to buy CE's to get same games you got for $6.99 couple months ago. I usually buy 10+ games a monath from them, but this month had to look hard for 4. I refuse to buy a CE. They are just not worth the $$. I think BFG has forgotten who butters their bread or they are getting greedy.

Or they are a digital distribution company that has outsourced the distribution of physical media.

It hardly matters if they are indifferent or incompetent or too willing to tolerate bad performance on the part of their vendors.

The unmanaged and perhaps unintended message to their customers is that Big Fish is too Big to care.

A-HA!! I Knew i was not alone in getting pooly packaged cd's ! BUT also i just logged on and was going to post a 'Follow Up' to this post! I again sent email to BF and this weekend got ALL the cd's i had complained about in PERFECT condition. I am going to email BF later and let them know. SO--guys--Please, Please, Please - email BF and let them know if you are getting poorly packaged cd's! It may take a couple emails but i am please as i like the games! Each time you get a poorly packaged cd email...and if the ones they send to replace them are also poorly packaged (this is what happened to me) email them again. If we don't tell 'em they don't know (as seems like people who work in/for BF don't order cd's from them or they would've know MUCH sooner don't you think?? ). Nevertheless--am glad to get good gamd cd's...AND i Will Not hesitate to email them if happens again! I am glad somebody there cared enough to get my cd's to me they way should've arrived in the first place...happy i can continue to use BF.

If you wish to get the message across to them, please email them or post ot on their forums to let it be known. It is far more effective than posting on a non-BF forum.

I did and was so glad they finally took care of my issue and just wanted 'boomers to know they did reslove it since there are so many of us here that play BF! I just emailed my thanks to them and am so glad to be able to keep playing BF!
