This is a casual hidden object hame, not one of the adventure series.

I just finished it..would not buy it again. I love the Art of Murder series and own and played them all; however, this was so dark in places to find hidden objects, had to find little itty bitty clocks to get extra hints, took awhile for hints to reload, and to me the puzzles were not to my liking...my opinion. It is only a 3 chapter game and very short...you could spend a while on 2 puzzles though..as I said would not buy another type of game like this for Art of Murder.

Does anyone know how to work the gears in the well? I have done many of these puzzles with my grandchildren but this one is downright silly.

Hi Grandma, I haven't played this game so hopefully someone else will be able to offer more help. I'm not finding a walkthrough for it either. wave

I did find one piece of advice about this puzzle:

Click to reveal..
You can't put the gears back, but this is not a huge problem because you can stack them on an unused pin. Put the crank on the lowest gear and work your way up. The solution was like a mirrored S. Always add a gear and use the crank; if the new gear turns, it's fine.

I found help on YouTube or whatever it is called. I had heard of it but never used it. The game was extremely short compared to the hidden object games that I play with my grandchildren. Waste of money.
