What server does the GB bunch use when playing WOW? I have characters on several servers and would love to play with my Boomer friends!

Hi ya Lorryrose, We play on Draka which is a PVE server and have a guild called.....what else but GameBoomers.

You can always whisper Sootwow or Snowowl in-game, or Lalais or Ardyth or Pipendelly. Come join us wave

Hi Lorryrose!

I play Lalais and Ardyth. They're my Alliance toons and are at level 85. I also have a Horde toon named Fastfredrica who's at level 48.
Hope to see you in game!

Andrea wave

PS Lalais is in GameBoomer's Guild and Ardyth is in Kitty Cat Death Squad guild.

Does anyone know of a good casual Horde Guild on Draka?
Too bad Gameboomers can't be both, huh? smile

Hi ya Misslilo, I don't know anyone on the Horde side. Andrea has a horde toon on Draka though.

I do know a good Horde Guild on Burning Blade, but that is a PvP server, though we have not been ganked much lately. If you are interested in that server, let me know. puppy

Hi!! spring

I have a Horde toon on Draka, a Goblin hunter, and I belong to a very nice casual guild called Anemia. Thaey are all really nice people, many from the EU. I can definiely reccommend that you check them out. They are a smallish guild but quite active, mostly questing and leveling. My toon's name is Fastfredrica.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but ......

I'm trying to get all Cooking Recipes - and are 4 short.

There's 3 I can't get - the Dig Rat Stew and Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops plus of course the one for Rogues only Thistle Tea.

So, according to the addon ARL - Ackis Recipe List - I need the 2 from Guild Achievements and Kibler's Bits ..... but what about the last one I need???

Anyone know if it's even possible to finish this achievement at this time?

If it's still an active achieve then I'm sure you can still get it. I'll Google for a Cata Cooking link. Back in a bit.

I believe Ackis Recipe List has all the Cata recipes - and if we go by those we can get from cooking daylies, then I have those.

Is there an easy way to compare in-game recipes with another list?

Kibler's Bits is a quest reward from the Cooking Daily in Shattrath City.

Authenticator Changes!

In case you haven't already found out, Blizzard without warning made it, so we don't need to put in the auth digits - IF we log in from a known carefully tracked pattern at home.

People are NOT happy about this change.
The forum already has 5 full threads about it - plus those that doesn't keep it to the Stickies.

I saw that Misslilo, though I have noticed when I log on if I watch the process carefully I do note an "Authentication complete" flash by.

It will still ask if you sign in from another computer and it will make getting back in when you've been dc'd at a critical moment much faster. wave

On another note, there is a known issue with the Mysterious Egg disappearing from your bag/bank when it hatches. I thought I was loosing it, but discovered not. wave

I have now read the 6 threads and it's really upsetting me.
Some people use several computers to play from - maybe a PC in a friends house.
So, if logging in from the friends house enough time, it will recognize that pattern and also allow that place.
Not good in my opinion.

I think it is more important than ever to keep your password safe. If your friends know your password to your account they can log in without using the authenticator, if you use their pc enough. Im not to happy about it the first time I logged in I was off in a hurry and went to the WOW site to see what was going on.

Thanks Looney about the egg Pip just brought one, so I'll be watching it.

I wasn't talking about myself smile
I only use my home PC - but reading through 7 threads now, a lot of people obviously do.

Lindy, I have read that if you have an egg, you need to be logged in when it hatches if you can...that seems to stop the disappearing act. wave

I'm fine with the change but I only log in from my computer and the only people who know my password also knows where I keep my authenticator. wave

Yay - just earned the title Flame Warden laugh

I dreded the Catch 40 Torches in Dalaran, but with the help of the little addon "Juggler" from wowinterface it was a breeze, lol.

When installed, open it ingame with /juggler - move it to where you like it.

Then zoom all the way out right above yourself - then just scroll the mouse wheel quickly back and forth over yourself and the little window will show how many you've done smile

I only had 13 torches.
