Hi Guys, I don't know if I'm being totally dim, but I cannot get to the academy to find one of the portals! I am trying to go down the small path towards the lighthouse but he will not go down there. I have drawn all of the lines correctly on the map! Please Help

You go to the lighthouse area.
You will see an exit at top of the screen to go to the academy.

never mind i found it... im at the swamp and found the metal dtector but cant find a letter???

I didn't find a letter at the swamp? I'm tryin not to look at the walkthrough, did that say we should?

If I remember correctly...the first time I investigated the Marsh there was no letter. Later on when I returned someone left one there.

Hi all. I am stuck around this area. It is telling me to take the small hidden path in the woods but because I cannot seem to draw 2 or more lines on the map I am stuck. I have done everything else (bucket w/glass pane).

It takes a bit of trial and error getting the lines in just the right places. You must have touched your map to all of the menhirs. The top middle star should go left through the top left star to the church at Warmhill and then from the top central star or point through the bottom left star towards the woods to activate that path in the woods. I had to try several times since I didn't know where to stop my lines. Keep trying and you will get it.

Thanks. I have 9 stars on the map and lines everywhere but still am stuck.
I was able to get another line on the left near the woods but cannot get the swamp.

It only has two lines but shows the starting place for the lines.

You have to get a line to the church, at left, and into the swamp to the right.

Then then the two bottom stars left and right finish off the set. Star at the top central star and go through the bottom left star. Try different lengths of lines each time till you hit the right spot.

im at Miss Valleys house and opened her term paper...im suppose to underline 3 words..but there isnt any word swamp just marsh..when i underline the 3 words i try to talk to zak but adrian says he has other things to do here first?????? i skipped that puzzle to move on..

im in the cellar and cant find the column to demount the cover..i used the matches but the only thing i can look at is the well

I tried that for a good while, underlining marsh, skeleton or was it bones, and the sector location. I've read others had problems with it, too. I finally used the skip lever in the bottom right of the screen. After you do that, and look at every single hotspot that you can, then you should be able to talk to Zak and leave.

Underline the words:
- animal bones
- sector l7
- land after marsh

In my case - sector l7 is not accepted but the other 2 were.
I eventually used the skip lever.
