I just finished Chronicles of mystery tree of life and was all pumped up to get the next one, BUT After buying Legend of the sacred treasure I find its nothing but a hidden object game. So I wasted my money. Dont get me wrong I like the occasional hidden object games, but the implication was this game was a continuation of the series, but it isnt in the strict sense of the word. In the blurb on the back it insinuates this is an adventure game with puzzles etc its not, so buyer beware. I now have a problem, theres an Art of murder new game with Nicole Bonnet, is it hidden object or adventure, do I take a chance and buy it or not. I have played and enjoyed Drawn and others but I dont want to do nothing but hidden object games. I have been to some more sites and other players are fed up too. If these are not adventure just find the missing stuff say so on the front so we know. At least now I have Black mirror 2 and three so Im safe for a while. Id like to hear comments from other gamers, is it just me or are other boomers finding this too.

teresa, there are many threads here on the new Chronicles of Mystery hidden object series as well as the new Art of Murder hidden object series.

Please search the forums for news on new games here before purchasing. It may save you some aggravation.
None of the new Art of Murder or Chronicles of Mystery are adventure games.

The recently released Art of Murder: Deadly Secrets is a hidden object game.

You can see from ***here*** that City-Interactive isn't planning on making any more adventure games in the foreseeable future.

Thanx for the input, I should have read the blurb better. I was really hoping we had a new series I was enjoying these games, (except of course the slider puzzle in the Puppeter) Guess my only heroine now is still (and apparently for ever) drum roll please, is Kate Walker of syberia.

I haven't read anything about the Tunguska developers not making another adventure game, so there's still hope there if you like Nina.
