I hope there will be more games that are non collectors versions as I really can't see that the included bonus games are all that worthwhile

All of the collector's editions are released as standard issues within a couple months of release. All you have to do is wait for it.

It would be nice if they released both the collectors version and the non-collectors version at the same time and gave you your choice of which one to order. Either that, or let you add the "bonus" part at an additional price if you wanted it.

THe whole point of the Collector's Edition releasing first is for the developer to make a few extra dollars. That is a fair deal, they need to put food on the table also.

You can but the SE and then buy the Collector's edition and they will refund you the credit for the SE.

I really enjoyed the first "Empress of the Deep" and waited patiently for the SE of this one. No complaints. But I'm wondering if it's me or the game. Although the game is well-done with plenty of gameplay (two of my primary requirements), I'm finding it repetitive. There are plenty of new places to explore. But you have to keep going back to the Hub and accomplishing the same goals. Wondering if I'm just getting burned out on these games overall. I even hesitated to comment in this regard because I don't want anyone to think I'm criticizing the game per se. Anyone else have the experience of getting to a point where, no matter how good the game is, it no longer seems interesting? Is it just a matter of some stories being more interesting than others?

ETA: Just finished "Voodoo Whisperer" and thoroughly enjoyed it. So maybe it's a matter of the theme/story. ?????

Sometimes I think it's the theme and the story but also for me I think it's just my mood at the time. I'm playing Voodoo Whisperer right now and I'm having a hard time sustaining my interest in it. It's a good game, so I think it's just a mood thing with me. That's when I switch to a match-3 game or a good time management game and then go back to the IHOG later after I'm burned out from match-3 and/or time management. smile

Sparkle,
Would also have to agree with you in getting burned out on these games. Had been thinking the same thing to myself. Although, I only play for a few hours at a time in the afternoons, I'm thinking perhaps it's "game overload"? Or just overload on HOG/FROG type games? wave

Marian: I go back and forth too. In fact, I too find the simpler Match 3's more to my liking when I lose interest in IHOGs. Maybe my "mature" brain just can't handle too much sustained thinking. lol

ETA: Maybe it's just a matter of having played so much over the long winter. With the coming of Spring (finally), there are lots more fun things to do. smile
