I've opened all 4 main doors on the top floor, but messed up the opening of the inner doors. Is there a way to re-set puzzle? Otherwise I'm up the creek without a paddle.

I don't remember a reset on this inner door puzzle.

Follow the walkthrough and see if the doors are already opened or closed.
If you want - just go through and close them all and then start over OR go back to a saved game.

You can imagine my level of frustration by the fact I didn't immediately think of going back to the last save. If only I wouldn't get so involved in the game to forget to save often. At least there isn't the library to go through again.

After reading the walkthrough several times the penny finally dropped and I understood what I was doing wrong. Ahhhhhhhhhh, at last!
