I will (yet again) be testing the memories of those of you who've played a LOT of FPS games in the past. I'm talking about Chaser though the problem I will explain may have plagued other players in other games.

For those who remember I am now in the russian military outpost just before leaving for Mars. My issue is, as soon as I restart my game after getting killed, all my weapons have disappeared!

I have tried moving the saves to another folder while reinstalling the game (this is my 3rd time now). Not helping.

Ikonius, I don't play FPS games, but I'm willing to bet one of our members will have an answer for ya.

I typed chaser video game bugs and 3rd item was neoseeker.com and that has alot of info about the game. Also plenty of cheats - maybe you can cheat yourself enough health so you won't be killed? I've never played this game - the story sounds good

Good story. Stupid AI for enemies though. Not much of a challenge in easy mode. Most of them just stand there taunting you (some of them in Russian no less, but you can tell by the tone they're taunting).

As far as the cheat situation goes, I found a workaround, as more than half of the cheat codes found on the web don't even work. Even god mode. So all you can do is enter \ARMOR 100 \HEALTH 100 \giveall to replenish ammo etc. Plus the giveall command is IMPOSSIBLE, as the main character end up lugging around close to 100 weapons of all types!

To bypass the hard bits (like the 'prevent the escaping truck from sustaining too much damage from the enemy' sniper mission, I finally went to pc savegames to get the saves. Good thing that works

If you like shooters there are some newer ones that are very good. I especially enjoy killzone 2 and 3 but they are for PS3. The Resistance games also for PS3. And Battlefield 1 and 2. Battlefield 1 ending is fantastic.
