As already announced by our member Neon recently, today publisher Astragon and developer Deck13 announced in english the sequel of Jack Keane: Moenchengladbach, Germany – June 6, 2011 – Games publisher astragon Software GmbH and German developer Deck 13 today announced the signing of a publishing agreement for the long awaited adventure title Jack Keane II.
Deck 13 has so far been responsible for the development of several other sucessful adventures such as the original Jack Keane, the Ankh-franchise as well as the horror-adventure Black Sails – The Ghost Ship, which has also been published by astragon in 2010.
The newest adventure of clever and fearless protagonist Jack Keane will be designed in the style of a classical point&click adventure and is set to be released under the title Jack Keane II in 2012.
We don't know yet who will be the publisher for UK and USA, but seen the success of the first Jack Keane I'm sure they will find a distribution for english speaking territories very soon. And let's keep fingers crossed for Haunted too, there is a very good chance that we will be playing the game around Christmas!  No news for Black Sails though, unfortunately we will still have to wait

Jack Keane 2 has been released in Germany, but unfortunately I got no news about an english release, I will try to get in touch with Astragon and see if I can find out something more

No, it hasn't been released yet, but a demo is out (I've downloaded it but not played it yet). The release date in Germany is November 7th.
I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

The demo released few days ago ( 1.3 Gb ) is unfortunately only in German, Pollo.
I wrote to Deck13 and hopefully I will be able to tell you a bit more about a future English release.

Lynthorpe -- if you're looking for games you might have missed the past couple of years, a good place to look is The Pagoda Game Database, where you can look at all the adventures arranged by their year of release. If you click on the name of a game, it will show you links to reviews of the game so you can find out more.
