"When I did finally find (the computer password), the answer was so obvious, and should have been so blatantly simple, that I spent another hour whacking my forehead simply to punish myself for missing it. By the time the player is finished with the game he may well have a very flat forehead, but he will never feel he’s been cheated or asked to do something far off the wall."
I laughed out loud at that. Marvelous review, Mr. Bill!
And happy birthday from me, too!

Again , mrbill.... Wonderful review....I thought it was very accurate...Yes....I had problems loading the game on computer, which never got resolved Only when I loaded the game with a flash drive did it work...There were glitches with error messages throughout the game..Had to save often... But ...What a "Wonderful" Game..Was well worth all the problems I personally had... Thank You For the Great review....Spot On

"BILLY RULES!!"
You said it! Now all he has is the pressure of knowing that we're salivating over the next LHOD and wondering why he can't get it out...oh, like tomorrow? Lol!
I'm already wondering if it's going to be the continuing adventures of Billy Black and his, um, uncommon girlfriend or something entirely different.
Actually, billy has me wondering how you go about creating a game anyway. Story first? An idea about interesting and unusual puzzles you want to create and then figuring out a story to work around them? Not that I'm likely to try at this time of my life but I'm really curious about how game creators work.

Glad people enjoyed the game (including Mark Hasley it seems LOL) I am actually not sure if my next game will be another sequel or not - I may take a break and I will probably come back to Last Half but am playing around with some other stuff right now... This may disapoint some people but and after 2 years of development I got to keep thing fresh or it won't work. Here's a teaser... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHWHaG7ZOFI

I play RPG's too Billy, so I'm okay with it, but I do love the LHOD series and would hate to see them disappear. Ana

I for one am disappointed in your direction Billy but I also understand that making the same type of game over and over can bring monotony and become a chore and not fun as it should be for someone who enjoys making these game. I do want to take this time to thank you for all the hours of enjoyment that The Last Half of Darkness games has brought to me and wish you the best of luck, fun and success in your new direction. Although it won't be the type of game I play I just know you will give it your all and that your efforts and talents will be now known and enjoyed by another genre.
Good Luck Billy and Thanks for he wonderful adventures.

You know what? I'll try it. (The movement of your character in that teaser was so improved! I'm impressed.) Who knows, I may be deadlier with an RPG than I think. <g> Whatever, I'll echo GreyFuss' wishes to you for the best of luck and success and fun in whatever you do.

Billy, wait please. Before you drift off into one of the other worlds, I have a question. I have long liked your games and will no doubt like whatever you came up with next (Just be sure and include that creepy laugh again), but do you really do most of the writing, planning drawing, etc. by yourself? I actually have very little idea what it takes to create an Adventure Game, but is WRF studios generally a one man show? (WARNING: if the answer is "Yes" I will incredibly amazed and extremely envious.)

...is WRF studios generally a one man show? The Haze, if you watch the credits, you'll see that billy is practically the whole shebang on all of the LHOD games with assistance only on the voices. (I think it was Ed Mace who did a number of the male voices and he was super.) Dar, billy hasn't said he won't come back to LHOD adventure games and we can hope he will eventually. But right now he might feel as if he's getting stale and want a new challenge to bring the fun and excitement back into game creation for him. Even if the details are different, doing the same thing over and over can get old. He's so very good that I'd rather see him pursue a new tack than burn out. Besides, doing something new might give him ideas on how to re-energize LHOD and when an artist gets ideas, well, he just has to try them out! So don't despair just yet. Gil.

I am not planning on abandoning the Last Half series... but working on a game for 2 years is actually almost too much work for 1 person... so it's very important that you enjoy what you are doing or else it won't come out right.
I think Darleen mentioned trying to appeal to certain players... but its not exactly like that... I believe you have to make games you enjoy playing... and I enjoy playing all sorts of games, including RPGs.

Thanks traveler. I did look at the credits (Because there is always something cute and clever after them. Here too.) but I guess I didn't believe that one person could do all those different things so well. I now believe and am quite envious. OK, Billy, whatever and whenever your next game is, I'll try it.
