I bought this game but when i tried to play it it has a light grey square which takes up a quarter of screen. So i emailed seller and they sent another copy of game but this one was the same but he said he had tried both games on his pc and they were both fine. I have no problems with other games. Has anyone else had this problem?

lorrapaw,

Looks like your computer is not up to the game.
I will move you to Glitches forum or you can do a search for previous posts that address the same problem. luck

If you play Still Life 2 on a low end video card, you need to adjust the options to compensate -- only since it won't start properly you can't get to the options through the game menu. So the solution is to edit the SL2.cfg file manually or download one that's been edited to run on low end computers.

I've uploaded an edited SL2.cfg file here
http://www.sendspace.com/file/kx6xxh

If you want to know the source of the file, it's the one Inland sent me. Copy it to your computer and use it to overwrite the SL2.cfg file that's in your game folder.
