Boolie, check with the attachment companies. Sometimes they will have a fix for that.

Boolie,

This sounds like a great excuse to purchase some new games. grin

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

And if you visit our Windows 7 and Games thread down in Glitches, you will find lots of information and tips about how to get your old games running plus a list of games that work. But, I have to agree with SQF - this sounds like a good excuse to get a bunch of new games!

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

The older Nancy Drew games (other than a possible sound problem with ND #1 and ND #2) should play for you if you follow these instructions:

I had forgotten how helpful everyone here is, Thanx for all the info,
We seem to buy games 4 or five @ a time, but it takes us up to 6 months to get around to all of them & by then if you have a prob w/the game it's too late to return it, in this case we knew our puter was dying but kept pushing it..what a conundrum !! But I will try the suggested sites..
Barry I don't know what virtual PC is ?
I agree Space, oooh can't wait. :~)

Metzo has a pretty good write up on the subject -

Virtual PC 2007 FAQ

I've been running VPC and other virtualization products for years. There not 100% perfect, but they do get the job done most of the time.
