What should I do? The little doodad that says it's installing on the left hand side of the screen is still running, but it's been stuck at 99% for over 5 minutes now. Should I stop it, uninstall and try again?

Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy. I'll stop it and try again. THanks!

Here's a bit of info I found at BFG.
Adjust your Game Manager settings If you continue to experience difficulties while downloading your game, such as slowness or a stalled installation, adjust your network connection settings.
1.Double-click the Game Manager icon to open Game Manager.
2.In the upper right corner of the Game Manager, click Options.
3.Select the Advanced tab at the top of the Options screen.
4.Confirm that the Default (recommended) option is selected before downloading your game.
If the download is not successful, select the Alternate Method and try again. We encourage you to try both of these options in order to determine which one is right for your network connection.
5.If you continue to have trouble, reinstall the Game Manager.

Apparently it was trying to install Direct X and it was behind some screens so I didn't see it. I had that happen too -- with one of the Nancy Drew Dossier games. Most Big Fish games don't require you to install DirectX, and for some reason the box where it asks permission pops up underneath the rest of the install stuff.

Thanks, Cathy. I'll keep that in mind in case I have problems again. It seems like some people are having problems with the new manager.
And you're right, Jenny. I just never expected BFG to require Direct X, and there it was under all those screens. Learn something new everyday!

I just never expected BFG to require Direct X... Usually Big Fish games don't require DirectX, but the Nancy Drew games seem to be an exception. It may be similar for other adventure games (as opposed to casual games) you find on Big Fish, so watch out for that hidden DirectX message if your install seems to have stopped.
