Mrs Worrier is lazing about in bed at the local hospital with a brand new hip. I should be OK, 'cos I've got about a week's-worth of crockery and clean clothes, so to fill the time before visiting hours, came up with this one. All the answers have one "h", one "i" and one "p" in that order.
-1. To cry pitifully -2. To make a characteristic short, sharp sound, as small birds and certain insects -3. Long-tailed crustacean of the decapod suborder Natania -4. Arboreal anthropoid ape -5. A quick, involuntary inhalation of air -6. Pod-bearing leguminous plant -7. To artificially place at a disadvantage -8. Foaming wave -9. Securing device for headgear -10. Diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders

Not doing too badly, Jema - I usually do the cooking anyway. It's getting to grips with modern technology like the washing machine that makes me nervous ... and I find I'm doing things on auto-pilot, like still taking two mugs uostairs for early-morning tea!

Hi Rog. I hope Mrs. Worrier is doing well. Sounds like she'll be chasing you around again in no time!
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?
