Why it has taken me all these years to play this game is a mystery to me but now that I have 1 word describes my feelings...WOW!! What an AWESOME game!!

Spooky, Creepy, The graphics are top notch, The sound effects are PERFECT & the puzzles are some of the best I've ever experienced. I can think of nothing negative to say about Darkfall/The Journal. A A+/5 Stars IMHP. If you're like me & waiting for some of the "New" games to be released & you've not played this game....Do yourself a HUGE favor & get to it. $8.99 Download on The Adventure Shop.

I agree, it's a good game.

It's a fabulous game. I've just finished replaying it myself, for the third or fourth time, and am currently replaying Lights Out.

For those that don't know, both Journal and Lights Out are available for $5.99 each, DRM free and compatible with Vista and Win 7, at GOG.

I loved this game; in my opinion, the best of all in the "series" by Jonathan.

It is indeed an excellent game...Number 2 and 3 are highly recommended(Just don't start #3 expecting quite the same type of expeirence. It's very different.

I'm going to have to play this again. I didn't realize GoG has it. It's one of the best, in my opinion!
