Please find below my post on the relevant BFG forum - I really don't know what's going on with this game! Any help by anyone here?

Hi everyone!
And there I was, thinking all was well with the new GM and the problems with installing and uninstalling games and all the other technical issues that kept cropping up lately, but as far as I can see, I am again not the only one who is having issues. Mine is different, but I did see a couple of similar posts. The game played fine until I got to the helicopter puzzle, in which you have to move helicopters from the bottom to the top of a grid. The puzzle has three levels. I got through the first two just fine but I couldn't solve the third, so I hit the Skip button. Ever since then, the game has been frozen at that screen, with no buttons active apart from the Menu one, so I can basically go in and out of the game and get that screen over and over again. The game does nothing!!! i have tried signing out of the GM and signing back in, as well as clearing my cache and restarting my netbook, but to no avail. I am on a HP Pavilion dm1 netbook with windows 7 32-bit.

I've written to CS with my Dr. Felix attached and will see what they say tomorrow, but from reading all the comments posted here, I don't think it's my problem. I certainly don't want to restart the game. I am now downloading today's CE. Let's hope there will be no issues there...

There is probably a bug in the game. Without a save to go back to, it would be very time consuming for beta testers to replay the game up to every stage of every puzzle and make sure they skipped properly.

For now, writing to Customer Support is all you can do if you don't want to try starting the game over and getting help with solving the 3rd puzzle (which for all I know would also crash at that point).

At least you have other games to play while you wait for an answer.
