Hi Dutch,
Make sure that you're close enough to the rocks before attempting to pick them up by left-clicking. Distance is all-important in this game. Are you clicking on the pile in the corner by the bridge, on the side of the pond nearest the house? Double check your inventory also, in case you picked one up without realising.

Dutch, I presume you see the pile as you walk on the bridge on the right side near the end of the bridge in the water? I do not remember seeing a circle of arrows. Chief Edit: Rushes hint is a great one.

Dutch, indeed, CD #1 must be inserted to play the game. I do not now why you do not see a load game after saving. Since you are at the very beginning of the game, I wonder if reinstalling the game would be a good idea???? Chief EDIT: I played the game with Win 7 and no problem.

Chuck, for the sequence in the prison cell, may I recommend to follow the walkthrough very carefully. You will be going from the floor of the cell to the Inventory and the objects you pick up. I also had problems in there. Step by step is the best solution I can give you. And when the energy field of the cell is gone, SAVE. Chief

Chuck, I do not have saves for the game. The sequence in the prison cell is this: 1- take the note from Rania from the floor and read it in Inventory. 2-in Inventory, right click the piece of cake and then left click it to eat it. 3-you will then find on the floor a note with red dots. Examine it in Inventory by clicking right and if necessary, left also. 4-In Inventory, use the bottle. Click both left and right on it to see what happens. 5-In Inventory, read the label that came off the bottle. Again click left and right on it. 6-In Inventory, use the label on the bottle. 7-In Inventory, examine the card by left and right clicking. 8-In Inventory, read the other note of Rania. The energy field should now be gone. SAVE. I hope this can be of help. In Inventory, it is important to click left and/or right to see what happens. Good luck. Chief

Great. You now have a timed sequence of 10 minutes from the time you saved as you got out of the prison cell. If you can do all the moves in one or two attempts, great. Or, divide your progress in ten to twelve sequences, doing a practice run and doing the real run and saving as you go. Chief

I believe I have a save still for just after the prison sequence if you need or want it. It is a tough part of the game and if you can get through it on your own you will feel like a gaming pro for sure! Let me know, but be aware I am not 'around' for periods of time so you may end up getting through this section anyway!

Chuck, I hope you saved as soon as the energy field went down. This is the way I did that timed sequence (time sequence that I do not like, by the way): -take out the WT and read one paragraph at a time -from the prison cell save, do a practice run for what the paragraph says. -come back to the save and do the real run. SAVE. -if you think you are to slow or made a mistake, start from the save again. -and so on and....... I did 12 saves for that sequence and I'm sure I had plenty of time left. Chief
