hello mag and rushes. CHECK PRESENCE OF PORTALS:academy ruins. i marked the portals on map. jumped to lighthouse. looked at entrance to ruins. where do i see an X on map? where do i see ralph's shed? robert.

When you did the map line for the academy ruin; be sure that he says something before you stop or end the line. Make that line as far as you can and see.

Then go to the lighthouse. Then exit to the ruins at top of screen.

You will then see the academy ruins Xed on the map, after you get to the ruins and combine the map and pencil again.

mag. when i draw the line to the academy location, am i supposed to see the word 'academy'? i don't see it anywhere highlighted like 'lighthouse', 'warmhill church' or 'gorden's hotel'? robert.

You don't draw the line to the academy - you draw the line to the lighthouse and then walk to the academy ruins.

mag, do you have a saved game on hand, please? i am reluctant to go back to the beginning. thanks in advance. robert.

mag, please excuse my ignorance but how do i find my saved game?

Hi robert, have you checked to see if there is a Black Mirror 3 folder in Documents?

If it isn't there, try looking in Program Files, or run a file search.

rushes, i found it in MY DOCUMENTS. now, how do i upload this saved game to mag? i saved it to the desktop. robert.

Great that you found it.

Now open up a new e-mail message as you normally would. You'll find MaG's e-mail on her profile. Then use the attachment feature on the e-mail to browse your desktop and attach the save file by selecting it, then clicking on OK.

hi mag. STONE CIRCLE AT WHITE WOODS. i jumped back to the castle but the program won't let me take the folding ladder. do you know why? robert.

Be sure that Adrian clicked on the chasm at the cave area.

There are several ladders at the castle. Only one can be taken. Take the folding ladder leaning on the wall at the backyard of the castle.

hi mag, it's robert again. i' m at miss valley's and just read her seminar folder but the program won't let me leave until i have done everything. i right-clicked all inventory and underlined the words. any ideas? robert.

This is a known glitch.

If you selected additional help under options, after you try to solve that (or any) mini puzzle - a skip button will appear. Then skip the puzzle.

It should be at bottom right and will show up only after you have tried the puzzle several times.

hi mag. i jumped to the castle where i meet edward and i give him the letter from angelina to exonerate adrian with spooner. where exactly is the room at the passage where adrian woke up - to give him mordred's book? robert.

Hi Robert,

Go upstairs. To the left is Lady Victoria's room.
At center of screen (background) is a passage to the left.
The exit arrow is diagonal left - that is the room - hidden back there.
Press the spacebar to find that exit. Good luck.
