Jewel Quest is a match-3 game; you can read a review of it here. It's definitely not a hidden object game. Are you looking for hidden object games that you can order online and then mailed to you? If you would ever like help learning how to download a hidden object game from Big Fish Games, many of us here would be glad to help.

Classy, my condolences on your husbands passing. I am very sorry. You can safely download from BigFish Games . You can try the games for free and then consider buying them. THeir customer service is outstanding. You would contact them if you have troubles with their games, but you can discuss the games or ask for help here too. Ana

Classy Jazzy - So very sorry for your loss - You have my deepest sympathy. It must be a very very difficult time for you right now. This is a wonderful place to get Games help, and also to find friends. We can guide you through any download problems you have. We are all great fans of Big Fish Games here..... In fact I am a BFG addict LOL!

Classy sorry for your loss. There are lots of casual games out there you can buy at places like Target, BestBuy etc. Jewel Quest is a fun game. But if I were you I'd do as Ana said and try thr game for free first on Big Fish.

My husband died in April this year. I have found that playing computer games let's me briefly step away from anguish. It's tricky though to establish a balance between playing and living but that's true of adventure gaming in general. Ask anyone here. The good thing about casual games is that they are less complex than regular adventure games and my fragile, fractured mind appreciates that.
Also solving a computer problem, for example how to download, is good for feeling competent.
I, too, have had trouble downloading longer games. Try Big Fish. If the pop-up icon says "installation failed" just click on the arrow on the far right of the dialog box. When I tried downloading a whole game for the first time (it was a Carol Reed mystery), I got that message after the download. Also Big Fish has good support unlike some of the other websites where games can be purchased. Big Fish's customer base is probably less computer savvy than, for example, Adventure Shop's so having good support is an important part of the bottom line.

8dognight - So sorry to hear about your recent loss. It must be a very tough time for you also. I can see that immersing yourself in computer games can, to a certain degree, help from time to time. x x
