Slydos posted this in 2008:
A French walkthrough can be found here:

The French release is title Le Pic Rouge.

Maybe you can pick up some pointers.

Well at least you get to play the game Kjos. I can not and it looks like a few others are in the same boat. Have a cursor in the opening menu and options but once I start the game the cursor disappears. Tried to reinstall with same results. I will go to Glitches with this. Good Luck Kjos.

Thanks MaG. Will look at it. I didn't have any trouble playing the game.
The WT sure helped me. Never would have guessed how to get out of the room. I translated the WT and printed a little of it. Sure is a lot of walkng keep getting lost.

MaG will you be writing a WT for the game? The one I'm using is so hard to follow. There must be 100 rooms and none of them are marked. The blind leading the blind. It's a very demanding game but I like it.Thanks

Thank you for posting this Richard. I had given up hope of ever playing this game. I am downloading it now. Maybe you can be our "go to" person when we need help with the game, since you are already playing it.(say she hopefully).

I am just about to start playing Richard. I had a look at the French walkthrough, and I may just print it out. I will probably be stuck right off the bat.

Robert,
Check this Discussion thread.

Richard,
Thanks. Maybe when I have the time but I will be busy for a while. Looks like you're doing well.

Go to the front door of the hotel and ring the bell alecks will leave his room. Don't forget to put the matches on the door of his study.

I'm only about an hour into it so far, Richard. I plan on getting further into it today. laugh

Hi brnxbob, welcome to GameBoomers. I haven't made it to the dining room yet. Have you moved your cursor all around the edges of your screen in case there's a directional arrow to another part of the room?

Glad you're progressing now, tracee.

brnxbob Is there anybody else in the dining room. If so and they are eating you have to get something to eat to. If nobody there just go out the double doors.

take food in each category without repeating. severly solutions: for example, vegetable:cucumber,
chicken:chicken, fish:salmon, meat:beef. Hope this helps. If you do it right you should sit down at the table.

Kjos, Thanks for your reply. I have tried 1 from each category as well as a number of other combinations...nothing seems to work. Oh well
