Hi Robert, I'm not Mag or Rushes, but I am playing the same game...nearly at the end. I've played the Raid game a few times (it's not too bad) but the Monster game with Lukas only once (hated it) and had no problem progressing in the game. Good luck!

Hi robert, The game isn't skippable -- you do have to play it once in order to progress. The good news is, you don't have to win it. Even if you lose, it counts as having played, and you can move on. So if the explanation in MaG's walkthrough doesn't help you, just select random cards against Karl. It shouldn't take all that long for him to whizz to the finish.

If it's your turn, have you clicked on the number wheel at bottom left to spin it?

The number wheel is just so your counter can move that many spaces on the board (which it will do automatically), it doesn't relate to the cards themselves.
If you're not getting an active cursor along the cards on your bottom row, check the cards on the columns at far left or right, I think you need to select an opponent. Can you see either block flashing?

Did you try left-click selecting one of them? Now you've got active cards and you're able to see them in close-up, clicking on one should bring it into play and move the game along.

hi rushes. i managed to get through 'raid'. i don't know how and i certainly did not enjoy it - but!!! onwards and hopefully upwards. now working on Karl. robert.
rushes, if i turn right from the sparrow painting, i don't see the raid game guide on bottom shelf. where is the key icon on the description? does it really matter? robert.

Robert, It matters. You have to know the clue. The walkthrough states: Raid: Turn right to the right wall. The sparrow painting is on the left wall. The guide is on the right wall shelf. It is below the 3 scales.
