I started playing and had no problems. I am now in the Restoration room and SH keeps dieing. Drivers/video cards all up to date. Checked the game and it is Vista compatible. Can someone shed any light on this?

The title of your thread says you're having a game crash but your description of the problem suggests you're having trouble with a timed sequence. If you're having trouble getting past a timed sequence, I suggest getting a saved game from Hints.

Puzzler try compatibility mode it sometimes works for your kind of problem.
