I just arrived in England and am at the gate. I can't pick up the note (above the doorbell) and can't do anyhing that the walkthrough shows. Help. pl

There's a torn note in the shrubbery to the lower left of the gate; have you picked that up? You need to zoom into the shrubbery in order to get it.

I'm playing on iPad and stuck in Chapter 4. I'm going nuts trying to find the last piece to the list of chores to put on the clipboard. I looked through all walkthroughs I could find, went through the GB forum and BF, the hint button just takes me to the cottage door. I've tapped everywhere on the screen and searched in other scenes. What have I missed? Can anyone help? Any ideas.......besides starting over.

Looking at the Big Fish walkthrough, the 5 pieces of the list of chores are shown inside yellow squares, in front of Halward Manor. If you have clicked on all of those places, I don't know what else to suggest, unfortunately. Maybe someone else will have some ideas.

Marian, you have saved whatever is left of my sanity. I looked at that and automatically took it to be the pieces to the teapot. Thank you so much. I'm really enjoying this game.
