I'm not sure if I have a problem here with the game, and hoping someone can just answer it for me. Wilbur and Ivo have rescued Nate. The next thing I know they are at the temple with Nate saying he has to repair the engine of his machine.

I'm wondering if somehow my computer skipped a video portion? Or does it just switch that abruptly?

Edited: Oh, nm. I just realized there is a walkthrough and looked at it, and that's what happens. It just seemed too abrupt of a change. I'm really enjoying this game. I'll be back if I have other questions. I'm not able to delete this post.

Heelllpp! I'm at the Sunken Temple trying to trap Munkus. Walkthrough says put sardine oil on the floor, oar in machine and lure him. Once he's knocked down put the mail tube in the chute. The only problem is, I can't get the tube in the chute. The arrow, and therefore the animation, doesn't stop so I can do it. I've tried doing nothing, left clicking and right clicking, and nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

If you tested and have clicked on all moving parts of that trap and know what they do - then lure Munkus to that room.
Then click the tube on the chute at extreme right of the screen - even though there is NO active spot. Keep us posted.

Did you open the drawer? That is important so that he doesn't get up right away.

Thanks! I missed the part about reopening the drawer. This is the only spot I've been stuck at so far and I was getting frustrated!

I have the same problem, I have read your answers and have tried re-opening the drawer and I have clicked the tube all the way on the right , but the guy gets up and walks out the door and I am stuck .Please help me!!!Nothing is happening!

Are you placing the tube on the mail chute?
The mail chute at is at edge of the right screen.
Have you checked the paddle?

Double check:
- Use the can of sardines on the floor in front of the bottom drawer.
- Open the bottom drawer.
- Use the paddle on the rotating machine with holes at right.
- Look at and then take the mail tube-cylinder on the floor.
- Go outside and use small stones at Munkus to get his attention.
Go back inside the machine room and Munkus will follow.
Munkus slips on the oil.
Munkus rises up and gets whacked by the rotating paddle-board.
- Use the cylinder on the mail tube pipe at right.

Yes I did all of that to no avail' Do you by chance have a save position I can incorporate?

I am on a different computer right now. So my saves cannot be checked as to where they are in the game.

I sent you several saved games. You can check if one of them will work for you.

I'm stuck again too, and this time it's at the Lightning Dance in Wildlands. Walkthrough says to use arrow keys on your keyboard the same as the keys on the dance when they are in the bracket. However, keys in the bracket are in pairs! Sometimes it's both right and left arrow at once; sometimes its up and right arrow. There is no way to press them. I can do left and right arrow at same time (which is wrong anyway), but not up and right, etc.

What should I do?

Edited to say I figured it out and working on it. But I have to say at this point I am angry at the game. Why throw something like this in when it's been point and click all the while? It's just a space filler, and for people whose reactions aren't quick it's a mess. Grrrr.

Why can't you press 2 keys on you keyboard at the same time?

Use the arrow keys that are NOT on the number pad but are stand alone.
If you cannot use one hands - use fingers on both hands to press the keys at the same time.
