Did you turn the fan power back on?

You have it backwards...you need to create a power failure during the Lockdown period for the computer to reset. One way of during that is to blow a fuse or make a power overload. Go back to the fan power switch.

You should be able to turn the fan power back on. If you haven't already go back to the fan switch box and slide the lever up

If you can get back into the box then I believe the lever can be moved. If you had already turned it back on the whole box would no longer be active. I can't remember for sure how I did it but have you clicked, hold and slid the switch or just plain played around with it?

Which room had the drawer with the tools, etc.
Thanks, FJT
Never mind. I found it and was finally able to reset the computer.

I have all the answers. Ok, so, what do we have? A street map? A list of what look like directions? Some mention of a hotel? Hmmmm, what about this hotel? If only we could find out where it was. And then once we'd found out where it was, if only we had a search engine at our disposal to search for what hotel might be on that street. And since we know this hotel means something (otherwise why would it be mentioned) perhaps this will yield some more useful information. Remember folks - you're a Sheriff - you're investigating - there are no set ways to go about things - it's up to you to decide how you need to use whatever items and whatever info you have at any one time, to progress and ultimately discover what has happened here. Good luck.

Also I wish I had the layout of the place, but I can't print the screen and get it. Here is the layout (Use right click to save it on your disk. Then print it): If you could give me a hint, of maybe the letter of the street. First letter(s) of the street are:

Try different ways to enter it and remember what you were looking for on that street. There seems to be only one way for the Search engine to work.
BTW...I think these puzzles are brilliant and most have taken a lot of thought to the multi layers they have.

Yes, and I wonder why they didn't allowed different combinations of key words to give same result? This way it can be frustrating. As WRMpls2, I had problem with this search engine puzzle just because I didn't type words in the same way as designers were thinking they should be typed. That make you think that you maybe got wrong street from map and that is not something you want to do over again. BTW, I like game so far and story keeps you playing more.

Got it but not sure what to do with it. Have you used search engine more then just for obtaining hotel address?

As we are looking for a try to include it in your search term with the name of the street that you have already found out. It seems to matter, if you write for example street or Street!
