Either I am missing something or there is bug here. How do you reset the Glyph Puzzle?

I don't have my saved games here to replay that part.

I vaguely remember redoing this part from the beginning over and over until I got it right.
I checked what the glyph parts are and worked from there.

Unfortunately I can find no way to reset this puzzle which is strange because if you make one mistake or are like me, one who likes to fiddle and discover how a puzzle works you find yourself at a dead end and have to exit the game and reload a prior saved game and replay from there. Luckily I had already figured out the solution while stuck in my original attempt so upon replaying I was able to get by this part. I wonder what Metamorphin has to say about this part?

There's no need to manually reset the puzzle. As soon as you make a mistake, the puzzle starts over meaning that you can anytime to do the correct sequence regardless of what you did before. So you can click random glyph and then do the full text anytime and the game will recognize it.

Me, I have taken an old backup because no "reset" button to start the puzzle when it's not correct, I do not have able to been train the good combination because of it.

Thanks for addressing this. I had tried what you said when I was stuck but all the incorrect choices remained at the (all random) top and even though I clicked in the correct order nothing happened. I am going to go back to that save and try it again just to make sure.

Correction:

You were right Metamorphin...this time when I clicked in the correct order it worked and the door opened even though all the incorrect glyphs were at the top. I can only guess that when I tried it this way I must have made a mistake on the order. I have to admit that I assumed that the top portion had to match what the glyphs said.

Ah I see what you mean now! :)) The upper thing is hint for you. It will never reset because it's meant to make your life easier. So usually players click through the symbols and than use the upper screen portion as a "dictionary".

I actually didn't use the top portion to solve it...

WOW! if you never used the "dictionary" you deserve some sort of achievement! Cool puzzler!

This one also had me stumped at first. Then I realized all that needed done was to correctly enter the sequence.

IMHO, this whole game is a master stroke. Especially the decision needing made at the very end.
