I am currently inside the temple with Wilbur at the middle level and Nate at the bottom. I've provided light for them. Is it possible there is a glitch in this part of the game? Even with the correct symbol combination entered and re-entered multiple times (I've even restarted the game further back), I can't seem to open the stone slab/door for wilbur.

Do you know where you got the symbols to enter?

Use the jellyglowfish-jar-bucket-line on the abyss and Wilbur.

Wilbur checks the stone slab that has symbols of: something that looks like a snail with a long neck, a fish without a head, a branch and a star.

Also if I remember correctly, there is one symbol that you might get confused on.

thanks Mag. I finally got past that bit and on to the inner temple. I am not at the bit where the baddie slips on the sardine oil and gets whacked by the paddle thingy... but I can't seem to be able to use the cylinder in the tube delivery system fast enough to hit him a 3rd time. The baddie just walks away and I have to try again.

Is there a specific moment when I need to click on cylinder in inventory and use on the air system?

EDIT: addendum. while Munkus slips on the oil/gets whacked by paddle, my cursor never even flash/changes into a wrench, so I can't pick it up.

Take the mail cylinder before calling Munkus. So you have it in inventory.
Go to extreme right and see the opening of the mail chute - click on it or any interaction. Then try using the cylinder (as test run) on the chute.
Then pick it up again.

Now - you can call Munkus and do the trap you set up.
Be sure that you have opened the drawer by the spilled sardines oil.

Hi all,
I've been having so much fun with the Book of Unwritten Tales; but then I got stopped cold at the awful dance scene. I don't understand why they put this type of mini game in an adventure game...it doesn't seem to fit, and there's no way to bypass it. My eye-hand coordination doesn't allow me to play these type of games, which is why I love adventure games so much. Does anyone have a save game for after the dance (and the lightening bolt)?
I'd really appreciate it.
