I wouldn't mind that at all, mcc. It's better than playing with people who know everything and hog all the monsters for themselves :P
And cheers Karsten and BrownEyedTigre. To be honest, I find the planet scanning way too boring to bother with it. I didn't do those quests, but I imported a 'perfect' save and made all the right decisions, and still didn't get a full EMS bar. But being a completionist, I played enough multiplayer to max it out before the ending.
I'll avoid spoilers until everyone has finished it, but I'd like to discuss what everyone thinks about the ending.

I am having some "weird problems" - big money disappearing, for example. Also I purchased the DLC and even when the menu says I have it I cannot access it from the game. I sent an email about the DLC to support but up to now no response Anyone had this problem or something similar? Scanning the planets is a pain particularly with the fuel running out before finishing one area. We can arrange a time to play online then.

Have you registered your game? I think you'll need to go through Origin? and play the game? for a bit? And have you made sure your Origin account email and your BSN account email are the same? If they're not, you can get EA to merge for you. Bioware has made it very CLEAR to the support people at EA that they have the authority to do this. Should be working now...
From what I've seen at the BSN forums, the DLC could only become active after a certain point in the game?
If you're having problems with the game or experiencing bugs that makes the games unplayable etc. it is far better to go to BSN ME3 tech forums. The tech people at Bioware are reading the responses there - to catch up on bugs etc. Also, some people may have experienced the same thing as mcc do, so they'll be able to help out.
As for the DLC not working, in DA2, I had to logout of Origin, then login again, and then the DLC was there. Also, mcc, sorry to ask you did this? But you did remember to install the dlc?

I did register the game. It is supposed to appear after the first visit to Citadel. The DLC appears in the Main Menu as purchased, I am assuming it installed properly. With the DLCs of ME 2 once they were in the Main Menu there were not problems. Now I log out from Origin and login again, it seems to be downloading the DLC again after saying - content corrupt. Maybe I am lucky after that. Yes, I have it now The big money is still missing, it seems this happens to others too.

]Thanks for the help. All in all I am rather disappointed with this game, probably because I had great expectations. It has bugs and the story is not pleasant at parts. Like people dying with apparently no need

I am enjoying the play but not the way the story is developing and the bugs don't help. I may go back to a game when I had big money and somehow spend it.
According to the link posted by misslilo they are working to do something about the disappointment of the fans, lets hope they do.

Just finished this game yesterday. I am disappointed that]my Shepherd (female) died, There didn't seem to be many options to get her to live and I played single player, At the end of ME2 all my squad were alive, [/spoiler] In ME3 I didn't like characters dying eg Morden, Thane, Rex etc. I enjoyed playing this but really wanted a happy ending for all. Maybe I'm too sentimental as it's only a game.

Mcc, Girly, I found the deaths to be dramatic but in a good way. I agree about the ending though. That was just uncool. And from what I found in my playthrough Wrex doesn't have to die. However There is no way to save Mordin and Thane

Another thing I just found out - once one gets the mission "Priority: Cerberus Headquarters" cannot do anymore side missions! I got this mission after "Horizon – Investigate Sanctuary" and before finishing several side missions. I have done every little search trying to get 4,000 EMS that probably I won't be able anyway, and now I have to load an older game to stop the final mission. I had to load one already to recover my money. I had planned to play this game more than once trying different ME 2 but I don't think it will be the case.

If any of you have romanced Liara T'soni, then I've just uploaded 2 videos on Youtube. It's with Female Shepard, since they are the most popular out there, and will get most hits They are my VERY first attempts on making videos, so be gentle on me, lol https://www.youtube.com/user/FaithWishing

Thanks misslilo, very nice. I am playing male Sheppard because since one sees Sheppard all the time, I rather see the very handsome him He is romancing Ashley but nothing has happened yet since I have not decided to go for the ending. Probably Liara was a better romance partner, certainly not as complicated as Ashley. I would like to know if somebody has reached the 4,000 EMS (without multiplayer), which is the minimum to get a reasonable ending. I have done all side missions, my Me 2 import was good and I am far from that figure .

I got 4000 but I did all the sidequests, scanned every single planet, and got chased out of every system by reaper ships.
Afterwards, I played some multiplayer and raised it 5000.
So it's possible to reach 4000 but not 5000 without multiplayer.
I'm not sure what the minimum is for a reasonable ending. I didn't find my ending that reasonable.

I don't know what I am missing, I didn't collect all the credits and fuel from the planets but these don't appear to give EMS. Probably no ending can be called reasonable

I think you'll need to get 5000 EMS or above to get the socalled good ending; my problem with this is that this scores also factores (as in counts) in the choices you've made in ME1 and ME2. This really is not reasonable, I feel. I also don't know why Bioware would make it so that you needed EMS - or Galactic Readiness Points - to get allies to show up in the final battle. It would have been much better if this was handled like in DA: Origins where each of the allies had a box where you could put stuff in; more stuff in the box meant more allies and stronger allies as well. As for the ending, granted I've only seen the ending(s) on youtube, and to me they look like open endings e.g. an ending without definite closure for a lot the game's plots etc. Warning - spoiler ahead: To me, the ghost in the machine didn't make much sense - as it introduces a religious theme in the ME univese that really doesn't belong there, imo, at least. Also, choosing at least two of the endings mean that either Saren or The Illusive Man (TIM) was right all along. And a lot of people probably went - what? - when they saw this and said to themselves: this don't make much sense? And what just happened? I sort of agree.... As others have said, Bioware have said they're working on something that will clarify things and answer questions. What this is remains to be seen, though.
