Hi girly, there is a thin slider at the side of the dialogue box - click & drag it down to see all dialogue choices.
Click on 'Show Item' & your inventory automtically opens.
Click on 'Examine' & then on the art guide.
It should now appear in front of you.
Use either the A, D or one of the side arrow keys on the keyboard to turn the book over so you see the back of it. You'll see a name sticker & a magnifying glass - click on it!

Hope that helps ! smile

Thanks for reply.

I have done that. When I click on examine and then the book it comes on screen and says on bottom read art guide. When I click on it to read it doesn't open book but goes back to dialogue.

I cannot get out of the dialogue no matter what I choose. I have started this again but always get the same result.

Hi girly, when the book comes on-screen DON'T click on the bottom to read it!

Just use the A or D keys (or side arrows) on your keyboard to turn the book to look at the back cover & click on the sticker. That should work! smile

Thanks Chrissie I've done it now. I was trying to read it and thinking about the arrows which turn the pages not the keyboard keys, duh!

I cannot open the coffin lid in the crypt. I have turned the symbol round and round but can't tell which is the roots or the crown.
Help please thanks

Hi girly, I merged your two threads together.

From Chrissie's walkthrough, did you do this: In inventory examine the Calmwood Artwork Guide & turn to the last page for a clue. Turn the plates of the coffin according to the illustration. (The roots & crown need to be upside down). Click on the lid.

I have looked at the book but can't make out which are the roots and which is the crown on the symbol on the lid. I've tried every way but am just going backwards and forwards

Hi girly, the roots are the symbols on the two sides of the coffin & the crown is at the back. When you look at the book you have to imagine the symbols folding down so although the crown at the back looks the right way up it will actually be upside down if it folds down the back. (if that makes sense?)

On the side of the coffin just click on the symbols so the wiggly bits face downwards. At the back turn the crown upside down - once you've done that just click on the symbol at the front which should be in the same position as in the Art Guide. smile

Thanks so much. I didn't realise there was anything on the two ends which is why I couldn't see the crown. Silly me (again)
