Hi, I normally play point-and-click rather than hidden object games as hidden objects don't seem to have much story other than finding xyz (or perhaps I'm missing out?).
I saw the Drawn series on Big Fish, however, and it seems like it might be both?
Can anyone shed some light for me please?
Thanks!
P.S. I hope everyone is doing wellurock

Drawn is an adventure lite series and outstanding in all ways. I would start with the first one. You can search "Drawn" on the forum amd find lots of comments.

Are you on Spring Break? yay

Thanks for letting me know; I think I read a thread where someone also mentioned "Awakening: The Dreamless Castle" smile
I saw they have a "free sample" so I'll download that, haha.
Yes, I am until the 26th (started the 16th).
It's short but bittersweet.
I always feel guilty when I don't go on here as much sometimes life just gets in the wayrolleyes
How have you been?

I am doing great, thank you. The one hour trial is great especially since what one person thinks is good, another may dislike. It's always great to try for yourself.

Enjoy your time off!

The two "Drawn" games were my first ever "casual" game experiences and I thought they were both splendid !! thumbsup

Hi Dreamer. I'm an adventure gamer who didn't think I'd enjoy hidden object games. A couple years later, I'm hooked (thanks to BFG). The "Drawn" series games are very nicely done. I think you'd also enjoy the "Ravenhearst" games. "Return to Ravenhearst" was the first game of this kind that I tried and the one that got me started as well. I just finished "Depths of Betrayal". This is another IHOG that plays much like an adventure game,IMO. In fact, I'd recommend you look for the games that are described as IHOG's (Interactive Hidden Object). Hope to hear back from you what you think.

How do I search for that on BFG?

Drawn was the very first game I played on Big Fish. They had me at the opening scene.

I wish there more games like Drawn. Story and puzzles...no hidden objects that I can recall. You are in for a treat.

Dreamer, this page here lists all the hidden object games in the Big Fish catalogue. The difficulty is that many of the older games (and some of the newer ones too) are straight hidden object games. In general, the most popular ones at any given time (those numbered #1 through #20 on that page) are IHOGs, but you would need to check out the demos in order to make sure, or you can ask us about them here. Most of us are IHOG addicts and we will be able to advise you. smile

I'm playing Depths of Betrayal right now and I agree with Sparkle that it plays much more like an adventure game. wave

That's what I was afraid of. I've also seen a lot of hidden object games/packs, some by BGF at Walmart and Target but I'm not sure if they are straight hidden obj or not.

That's the beauty of BFG. You can play for an hour for free. Most of the time it's pretty clear by then whether or not the game is something you'd want to buy. I've seen some BFG game packs at Office Max as well. The games that have the BFG logo on them are usually good bargains. The ones I saw were $9.99 for a two-game pack. I had to snicker though when I saw a HO game on the shelf that I'd purchased from BFG that was a straight HO. Office Max had it priced for $19.99 for the single game. A lot of such games eventually are offered on BFG for $2.99. lol Had a nice chat with a "helpful" store associate about BFG. He'd never heard of them. I pointed out that the store carried some BFG games and then proceeded to tell him all about it. Husband remained silent, as he often does when I get on my soapbox. grin The store associate said he'd check into BFG. But I think he was just being polite. Have to give him credit for being respectful toward his "elders". wink

ETA: I'm currently playing "Azada: In Libro". I highly recommend it.
