That's what I was afraid of. I've also seen a lot of hidden object games/packs, some by BGF at Walmart and Target but I'm not sure if they are straight hidden obj or not.
That's the beauty of BFG. You can play for an hour for free. Most of the time it's pretty clear by then whether or not the game is something you'd want to buy. I've seen some BFG game packs at Office Max as well. The games that have the BFG logo on them are usually good bargains. The ones I saw were $9.99 for a two-game pack. I had to snicker though when I saw a HO game on the shelf that I'd purchased from BFG that was a straight HO. Office Max had it priced for $19.99 for the single game. A lot of such games eventually are offered on BFG for $2.99.

Had a nice chat with a "helpful" store associate about BFG. He'd never heard of them. I pointed out that the store carried some BFG games and then proceeded to tell him all about it. Husband remained silent, as he often does when I get on my soapbox.

The store associate said he'd check into BFG. But I think he was just being polite. Have to give him credit for being respectful toward his "elders".
ETA: I'm currently playing "Azada: In Libro". I highly recommend it.
