Iam playing midnight myst.haunted houdini delexe and iam at the part where you go into doyle den and access the desk to play hos to get a lantern, but it won't let me access the desk please help.thank you

There should be a strategy guide built in the game. Many times you need to trigger areas by performing an action somewhere else. Can you check the walkthrough to see if there you may have missed?

yes,i did it told me to click on the desk in the
den and i did but nothing happens i need the lantern to go with the game.it won't let me do anything elseor go anywhere else

I just saw a whole thread with the same complaints on BigFish. Did you get the game at BigFish? If so, I would report it so they can either offer you a solution or if it is a glitch, you may get a refund.
I understand how frustrating that is.
