what did you think? I must say I was quite surprised not to see a review and or walkthrough for this (adventure) game! I think I might check it out it's only $4.99-USD on GamersGate. download site. Thanks in advance for the reply & happy adventuring all!!

There's a review by Gordon Aplin (formerly of Quandaryland) here http://www.metzomagic.com/showArticle.php?index=390The ***Gamespot review*** by Ron Dulin is surprisingly good for a Gamespot review. The review by Randy of JA+ is archived at the ***Wayback Machine***I played the original -- not the Director's Cut. At the time I played it I would have given it 4 stars out of 5, but I've played a lot more games now and I'm fussier.

I played the original many years ago - and found it enjoyable - but buggy [Maybe the Director's Cut release solved the bugs.]

Actually the Director's Cut introduced a potential dead end. Here's what ***Mr. Bill's walkthrough*** says about the dead end: Due to the many changes that were made, this new version of Jack Orlando contains a potential dead end that traps nearly everyone. Therefore it is very important to save often under different names so that you can go back to an earlier save if necessary. It is especially important to save just before meeting with a man by the name of August Bellinger (and do not save over it), so that you can go back to that save if you find yourself at the dead end.

I just finished replaying this game. I had to use EndItAll for a warehouse door puzzle. If you buy it & have trouble there, I'll send you a saved game. It was a lot of fun playing this old game again.

" Actually the Director's Cut introduced a potential dead end. " That seems rather shocking !! Well, I think I'll just save my pennies and live with my memories then

Actually I did a review of that game some years back, not sure if it disappeared, but it was here at one time. I remember it being a quite enjoyable adventure game. I tend to like 1st person 'detective' type adventures, so it was right up my alley. EDIT: I found the review, you can read it here: http://www.gameboomers.com/forum/ubbthre....html#Post87386(somehow the screen shots I had included no longer show up).

We also have a review of Jack Orlando, both the Original and the Director's Cut. I also have any saved game you might need including the Warehouse problem. Just ask. Happy to help anytime. We also have, as someone else mentioned, the Walkthrough for the Director's Cut which helps you avoid the Dead End. Take care, Mr. Bill
