Hi Boomers! It's been too long since I visited GB and I hope you are all well.
My darling younger sister died a few years ago from breast cancer at the age of 39. This coming Tuesday we will say goodbye to her son James, who passed last Friday from cystic fibrosis, aged just 32. On top of all that, my brother-in-law is terminally ill with lung cancer and not expected to live much longer. I'm asking for prayers for strength and comfort for my niece Nicola, their daughter and sister. My heart is breaking for her.

Dear Bets, Nan, Ana, Looney, Evelyne, Sorta, Trippy, Marian, Lotus, Haroula, Darlene, Mad, Cailyn, Connie, Darleen, Space, Mary and Gerry. Thanks to all of you for your prayers, they are really appreciated. My nephew was laid to rest yesterday. He was diagnosed with CF at three months old and fought a long hard battle because of it. He always lived in hope that a lung transplant would help him and he was assessed for one near the end of last year. Unfortunately he was too ill and was told nothing else could be done. He remained in hospital since just before Christmas until he passed away. We got a phone call on Sunday to let us know my BIL had had a seizure and was taken to hospital. Fortunately it had been minor and he was released home and was able to attend his son's funeral. Nicola is just like a wee lost soul. She did a lot for her brother and is now living with her Dad, helping to look after him. Such a burden on young shoulders. We are all there for her but we can't really appreciate what she is going through. Thank you all once again for your prayers! Much Love, Mary
