I got my game in the mail a few days ago and have fiddled with it, but I'm at a loss. I can't get it to progress. I've searched the big tent, but can't get far because of Lily. I've played the board game a few time (though only won once)
I've ventured to the smaller tent, and done all I think is in there. Gathered supplies, put together the amulet.
In the tunnels, is where I am now, unsure what to do next. I've searched the three paths from the main room, talked to Abdullah, and climbed the ladder and translated the carving.
I've talked to all characters (there and via phone) and it seams I need to translate, but I get so lost.
In the tunnels I found two puzzles that I felt a bit lost one.
One is on a wall and you have to translate a story of heiroglyphs, the other is a horizontally sliding heiroglyphs puzzle.
Can anyone lend me some guidance?

I figured you mustn't have gotten or completed it yet, MaG. My first instinct when stuck was to look for a walkthrough by you.

If I didn't know any better, I would've thought I'd written this because that is exactly what I'm going through right now. I just got my game yesterday. I'm loving it, but I have only ONE task listed: Find burial chamber. I'm clueless as to where it is, though.

Sounds like you're farther than I am, MissSheila. I don't have the game before me, it's installed on my laptop and I'm typing this on another computer, bujt offhand I know I have that task, to get Lily and Abdullah to leave so I can snoop, an I'm sure there's a handful of others which I can't remember right now. I figured I'd check this thread quick before work, but later this afternoon, I'll reply/edit with a list of the precise tasks and hopefully you or someone can steer me in the right directon. ------------------------------------------------- Here's the wording on my tasks:
Explore the tunnels
Find a way to snoop Lily and Abdullah's bunks
Explore the main tent
Find the burial chamber

the hint hotline didn't help much with that sliding one, but fiddling with it I got it...and found the tomb. right now I'm on that translating one, which is a doozy
SWEEET, I finally got it translated!
What I feel I'm halted with is the tomb. Nancy needs another source of light. I found the lighter and fluid, but I'm figuring Nancy needs a lantern, but she won't pick one up. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks Georgeana. I found the lamp and did get the Sarcophagus open....but I'm confused by the gods sliding puzzle and I can't figure out Jamilla's bag. I've pressed all of the buttons on the bag's lock, but they just pop back up
I have the numbers, but I have to be missing something. No matter what order I press them, no success. One hint the game gives is looking up the eye of horus in the amulet book. I haven't been able to find that book.
I figured out what I was doing wrong with the bag, but my new halt is the chests in the main tent and the order of the four sons of horus.
I've made a great success, but still haven't gotten the coffin open, I know the order, but could use some steering on how to get the blocks to slide to where they need to be
Final update: I finished the game!!!
