We've reached 20 pages on the previous Name the Game thread, and so I'm starting another one. If anyone would like to view the previous Name the Game thread, you'll find Page 1 of the thread here. For those who are joining us for the first time for Name the Game, this is the procedure:One person (hereinafter known as "It") posts a clue to an adventure game. The clue can be simple or difficult or straightforward or creative. Clues can be information about characters or events or puzzles or more (though we do try to stay away from outright puzzle spoilers). Everyone who wishes to participate can post the name of the game that best matches the clue. If no one has guessed after an attempt or two (or if a day passes with no guesses), "It" gives another clue. The person who guesses correctly then becomes "It" and posts a clue for a different game, and so on. If you've posted a guess, or if you are "It," check back every day to see if you've guessed right or if you need to identify the correct guesser, so the game continues smoothly! (When thinking up clues, a good place to look for possible ideas is the GameBoomers collection of adventure walkthroughs -- plenty of inspiration there.) I am currently IT.Clue #1: Chewed up bubble gum. **************************************** (For those interested, the current thread titles are listed below.) "Clue #3 -- The mother of all giant ants."
Are you sure you haven't been watching "Them"?

At the direction of the President of the United States, STAY IN YOUR HOMES! STAY IN YOUR HOMES!" I paid no attention, and I'm the ribcage the ant tossed on the dust heap. If only I'd known then what I know now! (Wasn't that guy Santa Claus in Miracle on 34th Street? I knew Santa was suspicious!) Clue #4: Giving birth every few seconds? How on earth does she do it?

You're an extremely talkative ribcage. James Whitmore. Santa? The only one I remember is Edmund Gwenn...I think. Where do you find these weird games?? Why do I have a feeling the developer was Og and the game was engraved on stone around 400 BC? Gil.

If a skull can talk non-stop, I don't see why a ribcage can't. This is a recent game, full of sophistication and nuance. I think the developers are named Jay and Steve, though I could easily be mistaken. BTW -- Santa Claus IS in Them! He's Dr. Harold Medford. Or something like that. He's decided that Macy's is a bore, and he's gone on to bigger and better things.

"This is a recent game, full of sophistication and nuance. I think the developers are named Jay and Steve, though I could easily be mistaken." I hope everyone appreciates my digging another clue out of you. I wonder if there's more than a ribcage on that dust heap. A talkative toe, maybe. Gil.

Niteowl07 -- good idea -- the game I'm thinking of is almost as recent as Captain Morgane.
Clue #4 (Clue #5 if you count the nonsense Traveler dragged out of me. Hmmm. The sophistication and nuance comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek.)
Anyway, Clue Whatever:
The purple bear is his lieut (of sorts) and plays the lute. The bear's toe taps, but does not speak.
