Do you take the little complimentary shampoos and coffee packets when you stay in a hotel?

Nope, not normally, though there is a guy here you collects them and donates them to the battered women's home.

I used to. My Dad traveled a load when I was young and brought those tiny soaps from all over. I had them forever and used them as 'sachets' in my drawers. I don't get anywhere fun anymore so I have none left.

No not even a towel or robe ... I just feel so ackward doing that ...besides its really not nice

You are allowed to take those items, they are included in you nightly bill. Towels and robes are stealing, the other items are complimentary.

I take the towels & robes & rugs...... ..& bedding.

Really I usually just "use" the complimentary items.

Yes.. I take them....I also take extra sugars, and butters, and jellys when we go to the diner..

I don't drink coffee but the shampoo and soap are always on my radar.

I used to, but being in the travel business, I had a huge collection.Then I started only taking the better quality ones that smell really good. So yes, but I'm picky.

If they have lotion I usually take those if I don't use them.
