Q how can I empty my inventory,
so I can get down to the string etc..
I am sooo stuck, I have filled my inventory & I there are alot of items in the (upper right) pending inventory box, I cannot get down to the ball of twine to make a leveler ?? the puzzle with the saxton,weight & piece of twine...

You should have plenty of space in inventory.
Note - there are tabs on the top of the inventory frames.
I believe there are ?5? of them.
Each of those frames holds inventory.
You can even sort the inventory you have by kinds up there. Like I placed all the food in one and all the tools in another.
Empty the "pending inventory box" also and sort them on your tabbed frames above.

sorry & as usual I posted on the wrong site, We played the first game too, return to mysterious island & now 2.. we are totally enjoying this "#2" as well.

hmmm, found the tabs, thanx, seems I've given most of the food away trying to empty my inventory, Mina needs food & what I have she doesn't want, where can I find more oranges, spinach etc
( I have mudbugs, eggs, nuts, seeds, mussels, oil palm seeds & oil palm nuts)

Some of those foods are found where they are originally taken from BUT they are limited amount. So maybe there are no more oranges, spinach, etc... Or you can check the location in the wt by doing a search.

I would recommend that you go back to a saved game before you gave them away unnecessarily and go from there.

Just FYI, starting over again, I really enjoy these type games but I wish I didn't have to stick so closely to the walkthrough..

You really don't need to go by the wt.
Feed when there is need to and use items only when it is required. Pick up everything you can and hoard them til you need to use them. Have fun.

I cannot shut this game off, soo many puzzles ! I am exhausted
I am in the cave, down the steps & am trying to understand the wt with the pipes, any addl hints pleeze

There are 2 parts to this language machine:
1. Selecting the correct pipes. This is shown by the picture that has the blue cones on top.
2. Placing the correct blue cones on the correct pipes.
This can be solved by:
- listening to each sound that is made when the sentence is spoken. Then changing the blue cone on top of the pipe.
- checking which pipe has the correct cone using the number at top right of the screen. See which one is correct and which ones are wrong. Then replace (mix-match) them with other cones.

What a great game, tip of the hat to those who created it. It is so awesome how you can look up & when I finished I wanted more. Oh but those puzzles, it took 2 of us to do that pipe puzzle in the cave.
