For those of you who need instructions for cryptic crossword clues, check out this page . These have all been created by a variety of well-known constructors. There may be one or two that we might question, but they're still fun. Please explain all answers. -1. Sing about family caught in quicksand? (7) -2. Rat isn't scampering by front of church (6) -3. "La Boheme" centered around a city (5) -4. Sweatin', maybe! (2,1,4) -5. Duel with small puns (9) -6. Tadpole going upstream will set in slime (8) -7. Most pastry covered in onion goes for 2 cents? 12. Reading (double def)
If you're from Pennsylvania you pronounce it redding. Some out of staters pronounce it reeding, as does Mrs. Cue who's from Michigan.
