Hi monbron,
This is where the developer Pilaus said that the saves are for Windows 7:
Where the program files are there should be a Private Moon Studios folder and inside a Yoomurjak folder. Open it and look for a Data folder. From that folder open the following: Save/Level_00. The last 8 saves are listed there with date and exact time.
But it sounds as though you've checked there already?

The Private Moon Studios folder is under program files and Yoomurjak has to be in that folder.

Monbron, this is not a save. But wherever this system folder is, the save folder should be in the same place. If you search your system for file names such as agon_01.sav to agon_08.sav you might get some result. But if you haven't done any saves you will not see a save folder. When saving, always click in one of the slots otherwise you only get the autosave.

Monbron,
I can't remember if Yoomurjak did this or not, but some games make a folder for saves in My Documents.
Uh...just noticed, Yoomurjak saves are named agon? That sounds highly unlikely to me!

I found a great search engine called Everything. It installs very quickly and searches everything on your hard drive. If you enter agon* you will find your files. Here is the link: Void Tools - Everything Great little tool.

monbron, On the FAQ page it tells you more than you want to know. Under Searching - 2.3, it tells you how to use a wild card. (That *) You probably want the first download link, the .exe. birddog's link worked for me, btw. Gil.

monbron,
The saves won't open in your game? Those web services either charge to tell you what opens the save file or tell you they have no clue. They should point you back at the game.
If your game won't open it, try moving that folder into the game file and see if that does anything.
Not that I know but I'd be trying that.
Gil.
