The first Dungeon Siege game is a very good rpg that is point and click , along with the classic Dungeons and Dragons games , Icewind Dale (both games) & Baldurs Gate (both games) . The latter can , most of the time , be purchased from GOG for $10 each . Demos and video clips can be streamed on youtube . Dungeon Siege clips can be viewed on youtube as well . The game can be purchased fairly cheap on ebay , for $10-$20 , and it normally comes with the Legends of Aranna expansion if purchased in the right version . The last time I saw Dungeon Siege on Steam , it was $40 plus . Too expensive ! A good fps game to get your feel wet with , is the first Medal of Honor game . The Dungeons & Dragons Anthology: The Master Collection can be purchased at gamersgate right now for the great price of 19.95. It includes Baldurs Gate 1&2 plus expansions, Icewind Dale 1&2 plus expansions, Planescape Torment and Temple of Elemental Evil...Something to consider...

Wow, that's a tough one. The only one that comes to mind is Hardline. Released in 1996, it's a two and a half hour first-person shooter, where the game is entirely made up of FMV, with characters and objects showing up on screen, and you shoot them. There's an entire playthrough on Youtube, I think. It is a very hard game, though (excuse the pun).
There was also a much smaller-budget game called Bloodbath, where you were just standing still shooting badguys that appeared.

Are they dead? Yes. Unlike you they have but one life...and they wasted it for your sake!

I remember Nation Red being entirely point and click. It's a zombie shooter survival game, and it has co-op mode as well. But if you're looking for any kind of depth, this probably isn't the game for you. The premise is basically: Here are some zombies. Here is a preview of the gameplay. Video Warning: Lots of zombies, shooting, and loud music.
I used to play adventure games, then I took an arrow to the knee.
