I have a problem it's been awhile since I have used a saved game but I downloaded the save and saved it in a file on my desktop and then thought I should put it in the game file but it still is not showing up, What am I doing wrong? Please help thank you very much. Trisha

Hi Trisha, The save file should go into the Water's Edge sub folder inside Documents -- is that where you put it? You should see all your other saves for the game there. When you start up the game again and go into the load screen you might need to scroll all the way back to the beginning of your saves, as they'll be in date order and MaG's save is an older dated one.

Yes, that's the right place for it to go. Double check that the file extension of the save that MaG sent hasn't been altered in any way. Did you scroll back to the beginning of your saves in your game load screen? If that doesn't work, perhaps retry the process. Instead of saving the file to desktop initially, save it directly from your e-mail into the Water's Edge folder. and keep us posted.

Hi there, I just went and slowly looked at every save that was on the list and it's not there. I am gonna try to do the puzzle again I tried last night for about an hour or so and I got pretty close to finishing it but I was just not fast enough. I have clicked on other saves in that file and clicked play and it opens the game at that point but when I click on that save it wont open it like all the other saves I just thought I would mention this I have tried everything to get it to work, could it be possible the saved game is messed up just speculating lol thank you for all your help

So you are able to see the save on the load list, or not? You say "I just went and slowly looked at every save that was on the list and it's not there", but then later in your post "when I click on that save it wont open it like all the other saves". I'll send you my own save for this puzzle, just in case. Edit: MaG beat me to it!

Hello I am sorry I mixed you up by the way I worded my last reply, what I mean't was I looked at every save while in the game and the later reply I said was when I was looking in the file itself I seen the other saves and clicked on them and they went into the game at that point. But when I clicked on the save for the door puzzle it did not go into the game like the others did. That's why I thought the save was messed up. I hope you understand me better now. Thank you Thank you Mag I will try to see if I can get this other one you sent to work now, thank you so very much for your help Yes whoo hoo it worked I can finally proceed on in the game thank you Mag and Rushes for all your help
