I'm near the end, where Cordelia is tied up with a gun on Max. Max has said to shoot the can, but whenever I click the can, I don't get a target, just the look icon.

Am I doing something wrong?

Did you use the hand icon or look icon (can't remember which one) on the can first?

When I click my mouse on the can, the only thing that appears is the look, which I've clicked and Cordelia commented about a the can blocking her view. Then I talked to Max and went back to the can, but still the only icon is the look one

Did you click on the can shown on the screen already?
Also have you finished entering all 4 codes?

yes, I have. I used all four codes and clicked both the can on the screen and the one behind Max, but every time I click the can I just get the eye icon.

It took a few seconds to get the target after Max told Cordelia to shoot.
It might be best to replay the sequence again and this time take the time to wait for the change. This part was slow for me during my gameplay also.

I figured out what I missed, I hadn't clicked the hand on the gun first

I'm glad to read that you got past this.

I'm stuck almost at the beginning. I already picked up John's lighter on the Tower balcony and cannot postcognition it when it's in my inventory.

Balcony: Look at the view. Look close at the table and see John's lighter.

Do a postcognition on the lighter. See John and he's following a lead. He mentions the name Jeff Therrrien....

And now I can't leave the building.
Please help someone.

I have not had this problem but can you place the lighter back on the table.

Hi MaG, thanks for your answer. Maybe I can't do it properly but no I can't put the lighter back on the table.
Just a question but how do you do a postcognition? It's been a while since I played Ep. 2.

Click on the sphere at bottom left.
Click on the item you want to do the action on (the lighter) after you a see an aura on that item.
Then click on the icon inside the blue sphere.

Do you have a saved game before picking the lighter?
I have to check what I have on this part. Be back.

The only saved game that I have that might help is when she entered the lobby. Tell me...

If you could place that saved game somewhere it'd be ideal. My last save before the balcony scene is from the time before distracting the guys.

Hi hurka, You DON'T put the lighter back on the table. You must take it in order to make use of it later on in the game. I hope you were finally able to do the "postcognition" on the lighter, as well.

I'm also glad You were able to move on, hurka. I finished Episode 3 by following MAG'S walkthrough, word for word.-------but then again, MAG'S walkthroughs are ALL terrific and MAGnificent. LOL
