Hope this is not a repeat, I could not find another post here for this topic. The crazy folks that created The Neverhood, a wacky wonderful clamation adventure game, want to do it again. The new title is Armikrog and the Link to their Kickstarter Project is: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1949537745/armikrog Take care and enjoy my friends, Mr. Bill

Sounds great! Always did LOVE Neverhood and wish it were remade to run on XP, and later (WIN7, Vista, etc) so I could play it again. Will be back to keep an eye on this "project" Love, BL

There was one called Clay Dreams years ago, which I think emanated from Russia. Closest thing I have seen to Neverhood. Can't wait for this one.

Hi all, I have noticed that the game still needs about 330K to make the campaign.
If you have not pledged yet please do so - the neverhood was one of the all time great adventure games I ever played and from the info it looks like the game they want to make is going to be similar and deserves our backing!
12,072 backers $566,889 pledged of $900,000 goal ends Jun 27, 2013
It would be a real shame if they did not make the money, the clay animations are time intensive and the people making them act do need to be paid.
I will share a true story with you to help change your mind if you are dithering: I have been into adventure games since I first heard of them 15 or so years ago. I became obsessive about them and researched which ones were good, and tried hard to get hold of second hand games that were no longer being sold in shops, and I spent a lot of time doing this. The neverhood was one of the games I tried obsessively to get, and one day I managed to find it on two sites, I forget which but ebay was one of them. Anyhow I bidded on both and won both, and won both so I bought both of them. Then they came, one looked very different from the other. It was clearly a counterfeit. This saddened me greatly. Such a great game and they never got paid for sure for one copy, and probably plenty more.
The people doing games deserve to be paid, and we need to put our money where our mouth is.
