Well, here is is 9/6/2013 and I've just discovered this great game (actually bought the series). Must admit I've only been at gaming a couple of years and I naturally looked at my fav site for a walkthrough...So thanks. I bookmarked and gotta get back to my game. YIPPEE !!

Thanks Rushes,...I'm playing the first chapter, Serpent of the Moon and enjoying it. It isn't too difficult, however I'm working on the Tile puzzle, won the first level and lost the second level. Boo-hoo. Break is over, back to gaming.

I'm still playing Serpent Moon and likely it very much. The puzzles are fun. And once you figure out how to do it, they become easy. I like that. The concept provides just enough challenge and then the rest is fun. I don't care for puzzles that require so much time, that by the time I finally finish, I've forgotten what I've done or where I am in the game.

I just started this game a couple of days ago, too. Better late than never! LOL I am a bit confused now. I am at the point where I've gotten my tattoo and drank the "seeing" potion from Darj in the Warehouse. Then I left the warehouse and did some other stuff.

Finally was stuck, so consulted the WT. It says:

Warehouse Chamber: Darj will tell you that you need 'the sight to see the colors in this dark place". You'll know what he means later. His gift to you is on the table.
Drink from the bottle on the table.
Go out and up-screen.

Back Hall Click on the chest to play Raven's Hunt.

I did not do the "Back Hall" part. So I went back to the Warehouse to do that. I can't find any chest and I can no longer get into the room with the creature and Darj. Is this the Back Hall? If it is, and I can't get in there now, do I have to restart the game and do it over?

From what I can gather from Gil's wt:
- from warehouse chamber - Go out and up-screen.
- then do the chest puzzle.
- behind that chest is the hall that you need to go to.

Hopefully someone that played the game can be clearer.

I think so, too, MaG, but I cannot find any scene in the Warehouse or nearby that contains a chest with a game/puzzle associated. The words, "Go out and up screen" are a bit too vague to be helpful. LOL Also hoping someone who has recently played Serpent Moon can clarify this.

I'm writing this from memory but I think I'm right.

Suppose I said to go back the way you came and up screen.
In other words, when you drink that potion and leave Darj, you're headed back to the door you came in when you showed the doorkeeper your medallion.
Before you get that far, you see a hallway at the top of the screen.
Enter that and you'll find the Ravens Hunt chest.

Oh dear, Gil, I was afraid someone would say that. I already left the room, after drinking the potion. I did some other "errands," including going to the Blue Iguana. Once you leave Darj, you cannot get back into the room where he is. The guy refuses to use the medallion any more, and if you try to enter without it, the beast just says GO AWAY.

So what I have is a "dead end" situation. I will have to go back several save games until I reach one where I have not yet gone to see Darj, and then replay it all again.

Oh my gosh! Reenie, I had no idea! I was tempted to laugh and then I thought about how I screech when I have to go back and do something All Over Again!

You could try emailing Bill Fisher and asking him if there is any way to sneak back into the warehouse.

I wish, Gil! LOL Yes, I was surprised to encounter a "dead end" in the game. I remember that problem occurring in early video games, but didn't know there were games where it still happened. I don't like to play games with WT in hand because it spoils the adventure for me, but you can bet I'll be printing yours now, and following it closely.
