Didn't see a thread for it, so starting one. I'm just finishing it and it is just great. One of my favorites in the past few months. I'm not a big pixie/cutesy fan, so I had passed on it before. Well, I wish I'd played it in time to vote for it for one of the best Casual Games of 2013. Not a lot of HOG stuff to get in the way of a fun adventure, saving the world from entities who broke through the portal, as usual, but it is a charming environment, the graphics are beautiful, there is a sense of humor about it, and the Map function makes it easy to zip around. Oh and the mini-games are very diverting.
I do have a question for anyone who has played the game already. I'm at the end of the Bonus Game, and have to play a Match 3 game to beat the Boss. I'm familiar with how Match 3's work, but this one doesn't offer many matches, or even none at all. Seriously. Maybe one in the whole field, and once you play that one, you can't make another move. I'm a bit stumped by that. You can "refresh" the screen, but it costs you health points, and you can die from using up your health. (Besides, I tried that option and it didn't give me an improved playing position, anyway.) I've tried four games, and each time it presented me with the same lack of plays. I am not sure how one wins at this one?
It isn't a serious flaw because I don't really care, since it is the end of the game. Just curious.
