Are you trying to put the cat together? Have you tried right-clicking to rotate the pieces?

Yes and they won't move. I had this problem in Old Clock too.

I don't have a save for this - let's wait for someone who does.

cmumm, is it your computer or your mouse? When I tried to rotate puzzle pieces on my Mac, the mouse that came with the computer would not let me do it. So I just plugged in a Logitech mouse into one of the USB ports and it works fine.

I just finished talking to the Arab girl but I can't seem to exit the room. I just keep going back into the tunnel.

Are you in the large room, where Jamila is working on the wall? Is there an exit point at the bottom of your screen?

From the walkthrough:

See the mirrors reflecting the light. Arrange the mirrors so that they reflect the light to the white circle at right.
When you click-turn the mirrors it might show more mirrors spread out in the room.

To get you going, here are the settings for the first three mirrors:

The walkthrough says I am supposed to read the hieroglyphics Abdullah is working on. How do I get rid of him so I can do that? Thanks for the help with the lamp puzzle.

If you have seen the hieroglyphs that Abdullah is working on but you haven't yet translated them, when the time is right you will get a dialogue option that will send him away.

I sent you a saved game where the bench slider puzzle has been solved, but it may be a little while after that; it was the closest save that I had in terms of where you are in the game.

If this doesn't work for you, let us know - someone else should have a saved game for you that will put you exactly where you should be in the game after that puzzle has been solved.
