I am playing The Artifact at the moment. I have got to the old house and used the oil to get in the house. I have found a shovel in one of the rooms. I cannot get inside the left door at the top of the stairs as it is locked. I cannot find a note anywhere to know where to go to next. I can only assume that the note is in the locked room. Can someone please tell me how to and where to get the note.

Thank you.

Hi Callista,

The next note is not in the old building.

You have the shovel for a good reason -- perhaps you need to dig somewhere?

luck

Thanks very much Rushes for the tip. I was able to complete the game without much trouble after that. The game was pretty good and resembled the Carol Reed games in appearance, music and gameplay. I would like to see the guy improve on that with a longer game ans start his own series.

I'm glad that helped you to progress and finish the game -- and that you enjoyed it! thumbsup
