I have windows 7 and would like to play Syberia and Post Mortem, which I know will be impossible I think, I would also like to play Broken Window, can I play any of these and by what magic can I? I most likely put this in the wrong place, was not sure where to ask. Appreciate any help. I have left a message trying to find new rpg point and click and have not heard anything, but I also should of said anything point and click. smile

maggie, Drac has a post at the top of this forum regarding windows 7 games that can be played and those that need tweaking ... go look....

taken from her post:
Syberia 1 I had absolutely no problems with game installation or play. However, the Alt/Tab was a bit glitchy. It's been a long time since I played the game, so I don't remember if it was like that before or not.

Syberia 2

As Winfrey says, check out our Windows 7 and Games post stickied at the top of the Glitches forum.

Drac and Winfrey, thanks so much for your help. I am going to put Syberia on, how I wish they had made another one, I do not know how many times I played it. I will check the games for windows 7, I have been off for a few years now and I am back on for good, I have missed my games.

Thanks again so much

Let us know how it goes, maggie! You know there was a Syberia 2 and I think Syberia 3 is in the works too.

I don't know if there are still problems with playing Syberia... but if so you might want to check this link out.

Yes, there was a patch for Syberia 1 if Kate was walking as though she were in mud. I didn't need it for my Windows 7. Same thing on my Windows 8... I seem to remember it had to do with whether your processor had hyperthreading or not.

Using compatibility mode also fixed the slowdown problem.
